September 2012: At the end of 2011 we received a dream order, to design the best looking saloon boat in The Netherlands. It is safe to say that we have succeeded in doing so. Have a look for yourself: "Classics > 48 ft. Saloon Boat".
July 2012: from September 19st to 22nd 2012 you can find us again at the Monaco Yacht Show. Naturally you will find us again at our stand DG16 in the Designers Gallery, overlooking Port Hercules in the centre of Monaco. We kindly invite you to our stand, where we can inform you about the possibilities to design your own custom motor yacht.
Oct 2011: The Dutch national news paper 'The Telegraaf' published an article about the origins and rescue plan of the 220' C.Bossman and her sistership the R.van Hasselt, for which we proposed a refit in 2010. (The article is written in Dutch.) Click on the logo to read the article.

July 2011: from September 21st to 24th 2011 you can find us again at the Monaco Yacht Show. This exclusive show takes place in Port Hercules, Monaco. We would be pleased to meet you at our stand DG16 at the designers gallery and inform you about the most recent designs like e.g. the 25 meter Runabout(see below).
June 2011: The best of American, Dutch and Italian design combined. If you demand performance and desire style and class, and if you appreciate privacy of leaving the crew behind every now and then; you should have a look at our new 85 ft Runabout "Commuters > 85 ft. Runabout".
March 2011: At Visser Compas, The Netherlands, they launched our design of the 30 ft. Runabout. When they took it for some trial runs, they were stunned by its performance; the smooth ride and the cornering abilities "Commuters > 30 ft. Runabout".
March 2011: Super Yacht World has published an article about the most exciting tenders and toys for the super yacht industry. The piece, written by the Howorths, includes our design for the 28 ft. Corvette among the world's top tender concepts. (The article has been shortened.) "Home > Press".
January 2011: At the start of this year we were asked by AZZA and De Alm Jachtbouw to fill the gap between the Delfino 65 and the Delfino 87. We based the new design, measuring 70 ft. on deck, on this first ever build Delfino, the 65 footer. Keeping true to the honest classic trawler lines, yet offering more interior space: "Explorers > 70 ft. Delfino".
January 2011: The brokerage of Van der Vliet Quality Yachts has included an article about the very origin of WERNER Yacht Design in their newsletter of Decmeber 2010. You can find the article, written in English, at "Home > Press".
January 2011: In September 2010 we were contacted by a client who had purchased the identical hulls of two fast 1915 ferries. Our heart beat raised when we first glanced over the plans. These 220 footers took us back to the era of Morgan’s Corsair IV and Dodge’s Delphine. You can find our first idea for the refits at: "Classics > 220 ft. C.Bosman".
December 2010: Since the sketch design of the 68 ft. Semi Classic was included in the portfolio, it could count on a great deal of attention. We have therefore worked out the profile of this yacht and placed a rendering at: "Semi Classics > 68 ft. Semi Classic". You will find it to be a sleek and stunning design.
December 2010: Since the Crabbersbank 56 came on the market again at Elburg Yachting, we have received many inqueries about this classic. We therefore have placed a slideshow with extra photos at: "Classics > Crabbersbank 56". You can also find some articles about this yacht at "Home > Press".
December 2010: Our smallest design ever, yet perhaps the sweetest ever, has been added to the portfolio of Commuters. The Corvette 28 shows how a classic car blends flawlessly into a stylish tender, providing a stylish form of transport between the superyacht and shore: "Commuters > Corvette 28".
November 2010: The English MotorBoat & Yachting has published a review on our design of the Boarncruiser Retro 50. Earlier this year, another review on the Intercruiser 28 had been published by the Dutch magazine Motorboot. You can find both articles at "Home > Press".
October 2010: Our Design of the Alm Delfino 66 Trawler has been nominated, by an international jury, for European Motor Yacht of the Year 2010 at the Genova Boat Show. Note that last year our design of the Boarncruiser 50 Retro had been nominated for the same award. We are pleased to see our designs for series are so well appreciated.
September 2010: The writer / photographer duo Michael and Frances Howorth have, in search of new top concepts on the Monaco Yacht Show, spotted our design of the 30 meter raised pilot house motor yacht. And they have included the design in their article on Monaco's Top New Concepts. You can find this article at "Home > Press".
August 2010: Next month you can find us again at the Monaco Yacht Show. This exclusive show takes place from September 22nd to 25th 2010 in Port Hercules, Monaco. July 2010: We are proud to announce that, after they selected one of our yachts as finalist of the International Superyacht Awards in 2009, the International Superyacht Society has accepted WERNER Yacht Design as one of their members. We are particularly proud because the society represents the best that builders and designers around the globe can offer.
June 2010: Resently Theo Werner has been interviewed by the editors of the glossy TopNautic about WERNER Yacht Design. They publised their interview, spread out over six pages, in April of this year. You can find this interview at "Home > Press". Note that the publication is written in Dutch.
May 2010; In December of last year we signed the contract for the design of a 30 mtr motor yacht. After the sketch design were approved, we began working full steam to realize the final plans and calculations. We have gone to great length to give the design a graceful and elegant appearance; not an easy task to full fill concidering the modest length of the yacht. That we have succeded, you can see that for your self: 98 ft. Raised Pilot House.
April 2010: Last winter the editors of the Dutch motor yacht magazine 'Motorboot' set out to test the Alm Delfino 66 Trawler. We can already let you know that the editors were very impressed with the design, layout and performance. If you would like to read the complete story: "Home > Press". The article has been written in Dutch. That might be an obstacle for you, yet you may still find it interesting to open it, as it shows a many photographs.
February 2010: A few articles covering the 79 ft. Semi Classic, build by Mulder Shipyard and the Boarncruiser Retro 50, build by Jachtwerf De Boarnstream have been published in the past few months in Boat International Russia, Nautique and De Waterkampioen. You can find these publications at "Home > Press". Most older articles have been revised significantly to make them better accessible with slower internet connections.
November 2009: The Boarncruiser Retro 50 has been nominated for European Power Boat of Year Award 2010. The judge report speaks of a friendly and warm yacht, rarely seen on (semi custom) designed yachts. A few years back, the Boarnstream also won the Dutch Hiswa Boat of the Year 2004 with another WERNER Yacht design.
September 2009: Like every year you can find us again at the Monaco Yacht Show at the designers gallery. The show takes place from September 23rd to 26th 2009 in Port Hercules in Monaco. We would be pleased to receive you at our stand DG17 and inform you about our most recent work.
September 2009: The International Superyacht Society awards every year the best yachts in various categories. Or in their own words: 'Honouring the best-of-the-best, this Award Gala recognizes the top builders, designers in the yachting industry.' This year our 79 ft. Semi Classic has been selected as finalist for this prestigious award. The winners will be announced at the annual ISS International Awards Gala, in October 2009, in Fort Lauderdale, USA.
September 2009: Although we will not attend the Hiswa te Water Boat Show 2009, you will find that quite a few new yachts presented on the show are from our drawing boards: 79 ft. Semi Classic, 66 ft. Delfino Trawler, Boarncruiser Retro 50 & 60, as well as the complete Intercruiser series. The show takes place from September 1st to 6th 2009 at the Marina Seaport, IJmuiden, the Netherlands.
July 2009; launch the Alm Delfino 66 Trawler. It turned out to be a unique yacht that combines a stout and sturdy character with elegant sweeping lines. She will be presented to the public for the first time on the Hiswa te Water Boat Show 2009 in IJmuiden, the Netherlands. Being the second largest motor yacht on the show she will certainly make a lasting impression.
May 2009; launch of the 79 ft. Semi Classic at Mulder Shipyard in Voorschoten, the Netherlands. Elegance in its purest form. In September 2009 you can be the judge of it yourself, as she will be at the Hiswa te Water Boat Show 2009, where she can be admired in full alongside the floating Champagne bar.
