WERNER Yacht Design has been contracted for the refit of a large salvage / patrol vessel, built in 1967 in Fredrikshavn, Denmark. We have aimed to keep the original look as much as possible and in the meantime we tried to add to the interior space, which was lacking in the original situation. The hull was very low. We have tried to compensate that by replacing the railing by a close bulwark and by extending the forecastle further aft by a great deal. We have, with regard to the interior, planned a layout which completely separates owner, guests, skipper and crew. In fact the owner has a complete deck to himself.
